YESSS, FINALLY! Someone who can organize my thoughts on school. For a long time, even though I have always been a good student, I am grateful that I am not the only one who feels that the school system has been the same with no improvement to changing it's ways. I would always question what good does reading this book do? What do I actually learn from memorizing all these formulas? Why do I need to follow this teacher's ways of teaching if there can be a different teacher who I can actually enjoy from and take something and apply it towards my future? I truly have been so frustrated with the school's ways and always say that the only reason why I need to go to school is because I need a paper to get payed more because I need to survive. Seth Godin explains how the school's system really gets set up for us to continue and stay obedient to what they want and need and gain from this. It gets you thinking about how it's always been certain rules to follow but if you question it you're wrong and the teaching is just the way it is. That is just complying to what keeps happening. If people didn't stand up and make a change certain laws and certain situations that changed were for the better and now I think it is time to stand up to what we want and deserve to learn.

  What is up everyone,          On a more happier note I finally did my first taxes this year. I never got to experience that because my first job was last year in May and I got to file my taxes as independent and although it may not be a big deal it is to me because I have worked so hard to get to where I am now and still have so many goals and dreams that I want to achieve on my own. I love when my parents help me and appreciate it but i want to be able to make mistakes on my own and learn from them and suffer the consequences even though my family says to always rely on them when I need help. I love that I have a family like that but I also want to grow more as a person and I am. I am also proving to them and myself that I will be okay on my own and can do and be anything I aspire to be with hard work and effort.
